Route

The Berlin Night Express trains runs on the following route:

  • Berlin - Malmö

This comfortable Swedish train links overnight the German capital Berlin with Scandinavia. Berlin is a hub for rail connections with all parts of Central Europe. From Malmö you reach Copenhagen in 35 minutes by regional train. Long-distance trains run to Gothenburg and Stockholm with good connections to Oslo, Bergen, Narvik, Helsinki and St. Petersburg

Special Features

The sleeping cars have comfortable double compartments, partly with own shower/WC, and the couchette cars have spacious 6-bed compartments. Berlin Night Express trains run every day in summer, but only three times a week during the rest of the year. Please check in advance. The trains run to/from Berlin Hauptbahnhof-Lehrter Bahnhof.

Eurail Pass holders

Eurail pass holders are accepted on this night train and pay a reduced price for accomodation in a double sleeper or a couchette. Reservations are compulsory.

Reduced prices for Eurail Pass holders (a 2nd class pass is sufficient):
Double sleeper: 30 Euro
Couchette: 15 Euro

Prices may be different when a reservation is made outside Europe.
