DB Nachtzug

DB Nachtzug trains run on the following routes:

  • Berlin - München
  • Berlin - Dortmund
  • Hamburg - München
  • Köln - København
  • München - København
  • Hamburg - Berlin - Brussels - Paris
  • München - Firenze
  • Dortmund / Frankfurt - Milano

These high quality night trains are running overnight between major cities in Germany and on international routes to Denmark, Italy, Belgium and France.

Special Features

All the above-mentioned trains offer comfortable sleepers and couchettes and cars with reclining seats. On most German domestic connections a restaurant and bistro car is available. Sleeper compartments have shower and toilet cabin, doors are safely locked with magnetic key cards.

Eurail Pass holders

Eurail Pass holders are accepted on all DB-Nachtzug trains and pay a supplement for the overnight accommodation. For a single occupancy of sleeper compartments a 1st class pass is required. Reservations are compulsory.
