Formula One: Hungarian Grand Prix
Budapest, Hungary

Formula One makes its annual visit to Eastern Europe with the Ing Magyar Nagydij 2008, or Hungarian Grand Prix at the Hungaroring. As usual the three-day event leads up to the Grand Prix itself on the Sunday.
The Hungaroring has been a regular circuit since 1986 and, despite the lack of overtaking opportunities, has produced exciting races. Be sure to make a long weekend of it and take in Budapest in all its summer glory.

Budapest Spring Festival
Budapest, Hungary
First held in 1981, the Budapest Spring Festival is the largest annual cultural event in Hungary. It boasts orchestral and chamber concerts, jazz, contemporary dance, film screenings and much more in 200 events at a multitude of venues throughout the city. The festival showcases some of the finest Hungarian performers, composers and artists as well as international talent.

Baroque Palace Days
Gödöllô, Hungary
A trip back in time to the elegant Baroque era is at the heart of the Baroque Palace Days, held in Gödöllõ's Royal Palace. The annual programme includes events such as puppet theatre, horse shows, opera performances, handicraft markets, pottery, toy making and typical Baroque cuisine.
