Wireless internet in the Thalys red trains

Imagine sending e-cards to your friends or updating your travel blog while traveling in a comfortable train. That will now be possible, because Thalys announced that it will offer wireless broadband internet on its characteristic red trains.

By October 2008 all Thalys trains should be equipped with Wi-fi internet. Passengers in second class will have to pay €6.50 (US$10) for an hour of Wi-fi connection or €13 (US$20) for the entire trip. The service will be free for first class passengers!
