Belfast’s city center is an impressive mix of Edwardian, Georgian, and Victorian architecture. Just strolling down the street can be an adventure. In particular, the Parliament Buildings, The Titanic’s Dock and Belfast Castle should definitely be on your list.

No more than 15 minutes from the city center, Belfast becomes a natural wonderland, with forests, heaths, river valley paths, and some of the most impressive scenery in Ireland. Visit the royal Botanic Gardens, wander about in Colin Glen, or take an organized hike through the green hills and rich valleys. Cave Hill Country Park is another must-see for nature lovers.

For the shopaholics among us, there are several tempting neighborhoods that will certainly fulfill your needs. Around the corner from the impressive City Hall is Donegal Place and Castlecourt Shopping Center – Dublin’s hippest and trendiest shopping district. Another recommended stop – fabulous Victoria Square, a relatively new, but incredibly impressive, addition.
