Gamla stan

A very popular tourist attraction, the Old Town neighborhood in Stockholm, dates to the 13th century and is one of the most charming you’ll find.

Lake Siljan villages

When to travel to Sweden

So, when should you use those Sweden train tickets? Unless you want to spend Christmas here, the best time to visit is in the summer, between June and August. Sweden in springtime is also lovely.
