3D Secure Payment with Visa and MasterCard
Eurail.com is dedicated to safe online payments. Therefore we added an extra level of security for payments with Visa or Mastercard. This protects you against unauthorized use of your creditcard!
This '3-D Secure' technology consists of the programmes Verified by Visa and MasterCard® SecureCode™.
How does it work?
After entering your creditcard details in our online store, a new window will appear, requesting your personal security code. Your financial institution will authenticate the transaction within seconds and confirm that you are the individual making the purchase.
If you don't use Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode yet, you have to activate this feature first. You can do this during the payment process, or activate it in advance through the Visa or MasterCard website.
After registering, you can use the security code for all online transactions. More and more shops are making this extra security code compulsory!
