Frequently Asked Questions

How much are the extra costs for a night train?

Eurail Pass holders only pay a supplement for the sleeping accommodation on night trains. The costs depend on the train type and the level of comfort that you desire: a reclining seat, a bed ina  couchette or even a private cabin.

We have listed an overview of supplements for some popular overnight trains.

Online timetables usually show what sleeping accommodation a specific train offers.

Reservations can be made from 3 months in advance. The earlier you book, the greater your chance of getting the accommodation of your preference.
