How do I make a seat reservation?

Some trains require advance reservation. See the FAQ Do I need to make reservations?

Eurail.com can not make seat reservations for you.We can help you on your way with a few suggestions on how to make reservations:

- Make multiple reservations at a train station once you've arrived in Europe. 
- Contact a railway call centre in Europe if they can make reservations for you and have them sent to your home. Good service is offered by the Deutsche Bahn, Deutsche Bahn UK or ÖBB (Austrian railways).
- Make reservations online through the websites of the railway companies. Sometimes you can print the reservations yourself. Online reservation options are for instance offered by the German, Italian and Swedish railways, mainly for domestic routes.
- You can also make reservations through one of the Eurail Group travel agents. Visit the page Eurail Sales Agents for more information on the worldwide sales agents.
