In case of loss or theft of your Pass, you can not get a new copy of your Eurail Pass. This means you need (costly) replacement train tickets to continue travelling. The Eurail Loss and Theft Coverage Plan covers these extra travel costs, up to the remaining value of your Pass. See the conditions of the Loss and Theft Coverage Plan.
If your Eurail Pass is lost or stolen during your trip, you need to obtain a police report within 24 hours of loss. See all steps to follow.
To continue your trip, you can order a new Eurail Pass at Eurail.com and have it shipped to your holiday address in Europe. You could also purchase point-to-point tickets at the station or buy a new Pass from a Eurail Aid Office (see list of addresses) at a train station. Please note that Eurail Passes are about 20% cheaper when ordered online.
Try to store your Eurail Pass in a safe place!
