Eurail.com does not offer Pass Security anymore. We advise you to get a good travel insurance instead. Ask your insurance company if your Eurail Pass will be covered.
In the past Eurail.com offered an optional Pass Security plan for an extra fee through our partner Wandrian. With this Plan, you were reimbursed for the unused portion of your Eurail Pass in the event of loss or theft while traveling in Europe.
For Pass Security claims regarding orders made before February 23rd 2009, you can write to the following address:
Eurail.Com
Attn: Pass Security Claims
P.O. Box 2338

The Netherlands
Conditions
When your Pass is lost or stolen while in Europe, report the loss/theft to the local police within 24 hours and obtain a police report. Purchase point-to-point tickets or another rail Pass for the remainder of your trip. Keep all receipts for travel. Within 30 days after returning to your home country file a claim for reimbursement.
Your claim should include:
A notarized written report of the circumstances of loss or theft, official police report, receipt for replacement tickets. You will then be reimbursed for 100% of the unused portion of the Pass.
