A popular Eurail route is to travel from Prague (Czech Republic) to Budapest (Hungary). Please note that the direct train (duration: about 7 hours) between these cities goes through Slovakia.
Because Eurail Passes are not valid in Slovakia, you need an additional ticket. At your departure station you can buy an additional ticket to cover just the part of your journey in Slovakia. This is cheaper than buying itt in the train. You can also research an alternative (longer) route via Vienna (Austria) with the help of a timetable.
