Flexi travel days (10 / 15 days within 2 months):
you can choose the days on which you want to travel within a longer period of 2 months. These days do not have to be consecutive. You need to fill in each travel date on your Pass before you board the train.
Continuous travel days (like 1 month continuous):
you can travel on a period of consecutive days. The first and last day of validity are stated on your Pass.
This Youth Pass is valid for 2nd class train travel only. Youth who prefer 1st class, can buy an Adult or Saver Pass.
Nearly all trains have both first and second class compartments. In 1st class the compartments have more space and the seats are more comfortable. On long-distance trains there may be extra services, like drinks, newspapers or a power socket.
Don't worry, second class train travel is quite comfortable too, most Europeans travel 2nd class.

A travel day last 24 hours, in which you can take as many trains as you wish. Travel days do not need to be consecutive. More on travel days.
Which trains can I use?
The Global Pass is valid on trains operated by the national railways, both within and between the 21 countries covered by the Global Pass. Some trains require advance reservation.More info.
Does it matter in which country I start?
No, you can start your trip in any of the 21 countries. You may even travel back and forth between countries.
Can I travel through a country where my Pass is not valid?
No, you are not allowed to travel through a country other than the 21 countries listed above, even if you don't stop or change trains in this country. More details.
