Alvia (high-speed train in Spain)

Alaris (as well as Altaria and Euromed) are modern and high quality trains in Spain. They offer an extensive service on board.

Routes

Altaria trains operate on the following routes:

  • Madrid - Gijón
  • Madrid - Santander
  • Madrid - Bilbao
  • Madrid - San Sebastián-Irún
  • Alicante - Madrid-Gijón

Eurail Pass holders

For the Alvia high-speed trains trains, Eurail Pass holders have to pay the following reservation costs:

  • In 1st class: 23.50 Euro (special services such as a welcome drink, meal, newspapers, video are included)
  • In 2nd class: 6.50 Euro

Check-in control takes place on the platform, before boarding the train.

Travelers with 1st class (Preferent)e reservations have the right to access at the exclusive lounge Sala Club.
