Travel Discounts

Berlin Night Express (overnight train)
Discounted fare if your Eurail Pass is also valid in Sweden (with compulsory reservation of a couchette or bed) on the route:

• Berlin-Malmö (Sweden), including the ferry crossing Sassnitz-Trelleborg.

You can travel overnight for just EUR 15 in a 6-berth couchette or for EUR 30 in a 2-berth compartment in an exclusive sleeping car. Please note: this train only runs from April to October. More information: www.berlin-night-express.com.

S-Bahn
A Eurail Pass is also valid on the S-Bahn (suburban metro railways) networks that DB operates in major German cities, inclusive of the capital Berlin. The S-Bahn can be recognized by its logo (white S on a green background).

Expressbus Nurnberg - Prague (new from 9 August 2009)

The "Expressbus" EXB is a new motorcoach service from Nuernberg to Prague (Praha) in the Czech Republic. It runs without intermediate stops every 2 hours. There are 6 daily round trips in each direction with a travel time of 3 hours 50 min.

Characteristics:

• Modern motorcoach service with 1st and 2nd class sections
• Snacks and beverages available on board, for 1st class travellers included in the fare
• 14 seats in 1st class and 58 seats in 2nd class
• Compulsory reservation for all passengers using this motorcoach service

Conditions for Eurail Pass holders:

• Holders of a Eurail Global Pass, Eurail Select Pass (containing Germany AND Czech Republic) or Eurail Czech Republic-Germany Pass pay the service supplement "Pass": 2nd class 10 euro, 1st class 15 euro.
• Eurail Select Pass (containing Germany OR Czech Republic) or Eurail Czech Republic Pass: a point-to-point ticket for the section of the country not included (at the regular fare) up to the border point (Waidhaus Grenze) is compulsory which includes the reservation.

Tickets and the service supplement are available at ticket windows in Germany and the Czech Republic. Service supplements are also available from the bus driver with limited availability and at a slightly higher fare.

Europabus Romantic Road
20% discount on the regular fare of the following route:

• Romantic Road/Romantische Strasse (EB 190/190A) from 30 April to 24 October: Frankfurt/M - Rothenburg ob der Tauber - Augsburg - Munich/Füssen.
