Big savings for youth travelers
25 or under on your first day of travel? It's great news if you are, as you can order a 2nd class youth pass – saving you a massive 35% discount on adult prices! It's the affordable European rail pass for students, backpackers and other young travelers who want to pack in as much of Europe as possible into one trip.
For travellers under 26
If you're 26 or over on the day that you start traveling with a Eurail pass or if you would like to travel 1st class, you'll need to order an adult pass.
Eurail passes available with the youth discount
- You can get a youth discount on almost all Eurail pass:
- Global Passes
- Select Passes – 3, 4 or 5 countries
- Regional Passes – except the Portugal-Spain Pass
- One Country Passes – except Finland, Portugal and Spain
Valid in 2nd class
- Eurail youth passes entitle you to rail travel in 2nd class, except for the following passes:
- Greece Pass – 1st class only
- Ireland Pass – option of 1st class or 2nd class
- Poland Pass – option of 1st class or 2nd class
- Romania Pass – 1st class only
Youth discount or Saver Pass – which one is cheaper?
If you travel with two or more people aged 25 or under, we advise you to buy individual youth passes. A youth pass is usually cheaper than a Saver Pass, plus it's more flexible as you don't have to travel together at all times.
- Other discounts:
- Travellers between 4 and 11 are entitled to a child discount.
- Children under 4 travel for free!
