What does 'Choose 10/15 days within 2 months' mean?

The Global Pass gives you unlimited train travel for 10 or 15 days of your choice, within an overall period of 2 months. Use your travel days when you want, and fill in the dates on the Travel Calendar yourself for ultimate flexibility. More details.

A travel day lasts 24 hours, in which you can take as many trains as you wish. More about travel days.

Which trains can I use?

The Global Pass is valid on trains operated by the national railways of the 23 countries covered by the Global Pass. Some trains require seat reservations.

Does it matter in which country I start?

No, you can start your trip in any of the 23 countries. You may even travel back and forth between countries as much as you like.

Can I travel in countries where my pass isn't valid?

No, your pass does not cover you to travel through non-participating countries. If you want to travel in a country that is not covered, you'll need to buy a separate ticket that covers that part of the journey. You can do so at the local train station of that country. More details
