Discounted travel between Finland and Germany with Finnlines ferries

Eurail pass holders receive a 30% discount on official fares on the routes:

  • Helsinki – Rostock (Germany)

  • Helsinki –Travemünde (Germany)

Please note that the offer does not apply to cabin accommodation. Port charges and meals are also not included in the discount offer.

 

From Helsinki’s main train station it's a 45-minute ride to the ferry terminal. To get to the terminal, take a metro to the Vuosaari station. From there hop on bus 90B which will take you to the harbor.

Set sail for Sweden or Estonia

Eurail pass holders get special fares on Tallink Silja Lines ferries that operate on the routes:

  • Turku – Mariehamn – Stockholm (Sweden)*

  • Helsinki – Mariehamn – Stockholm (Sweden)*

  • Helsinki – Tallinn (Estonia)

 

In high season you receive a 20% discount. In low season a 40% discount.

 

Please keep in mind that the above routes marked with a '*' are night crossings and that you'll have to book a cabin.

The ferry from Helsinki to Stockholm departs from South Harbor, Olympia Terminal. Take tram 3T from the main train station. he ferry from Helsinki to Tallinn departs from West Harbor. Take tram 9 from the main train station. Turku’s port has it’s own train station that can easily be reached from Helsinki and Tampere. The passenger terminal is in walking distance of the train station.
