Eurail pass holders can travel for free with the French national railway’s bus service on the routes:
- Digne – St Auban
- Digne – Veynes
- Oloro – Canfranc (Spain)
The best place to enquire about bus services is at local tourist offices or at a train station. In large towns and cities, buses run to and from bus stations (gare d’autobus/routière) usually located next to train stations. In rural areas, bus services are often operated by the SNCF and run between local towns and the train station. An SNCF bus, on which rail tickets and passes are valid, is shown as an autocar in timetables.
