To take advantage of these offers just show your Eurail pass or contact the company, that offers the benefit, directly. Free travel offers are only valid during travel days, whereas other benefits apply during the entire validity of your pass.

Eurail pass holders receive a 30% discount on foot passenger fares on the routes:

  • Rosslare – Pembroke (Wales)
  • Dublin (Ferryport) – Holyhead (Wales)
  • Rosslare – Roscoff (France) (May to September, no daily sailings, reservation is compulsory)
  • Rosslare – Cherbourg (France) (February to December, no daily sailings, reservation is compulsory)

 

Booking information
In order to claim the discount, please make your booking on the

Irish Ferries website and pay in full first. Then, e-mail your booking reference number and your Eurail pass number to the company. The relevant reduction will be applied to your booking, and the credit will be refunded to your credit card. Please send the e-mail to Irish Ferries at least 5 days before your outbound travel date. You may be asked to show your Eurail pass when you check in for the sailing.

To reach Rosslare's ferry terminal, take the train to Rosslare Europort. The ferry terminals are in walking distance of the station.

Dublin's port can be reached by a shuttle bus service. This bus service operates twice a day and departs from Westmoreland Street in the city center at 07:15 in the morning and 19:30 for the evening sailing. This special discount is only available at the dock in Ireland or Wales. To get your discount, present your Eurail pass at the Stena Line ticket office when you book your passage.

To reach Belfast's port, take metro 96 from Donegall Square West to West Bank Road. This will take about 20 minutes. Please note that the Stena Line Belfast to Liverpool terminal is located at the middle of the West Bank Road. The Stranraer terminal can be found at the end of West Bank Road.
