If your Eurail pass is valid in Norway, you can get discounts on boat crossings to Denmark, cheap bus travel and other benefits.
You can obtain benefits locally by showing your Eurail pass, or you can contact the specific benefit company in advance. The discount benefits only apply during the validity of your pass. Free passage on trains, busses or ferries is only valid on travel days.
Travel from Norway to Denmark with Fjord Line ferries
Eurail pass holders pay a special fare on ferry crossings between:
- Kristiansand – Hirtshals
- Langesund – Hirtshals
- Bergen – Stavanger – Hirtshals
During low season you'll receive a 20% discount. During high season (June 21 – August 18) you'll get a 10% discount.
During the high season a 20% discount is also offered on the route Hirtshals – Stavanger on Saturdays. On Sundays this discount applies to the route Stavanger – Hirsthals.
Special travel fares with Nettbuss Møre AS or Veøy Buss AS
Eurail pass holders get a 50% discount on the routes:
- Åndalsnes – Ålesund (Nettbuss)
- Åndalsnes – Molde (Veøy Buss)

- Myrdal – Flåm
