The railway line was established in 1909 and now operates vintage wooden passenger trains along a 14 km route:

  • Šánske - Čierny Balog - Vydrovská dolina - Dobroč   

Trains run daily during the summer season (June 1 – September 1) and upon request for the rest of the year.

Reservation for groups is recommended.
