Valid for question Close About: Valid for Eurail passes are valid for different periods of time and with a different number of travel days. A travel day lasts 24 hours from midnight to midnight. On each travel day you have access to the train networks of the countries where your Eurail pass is valid. If you’re planning to travel by train on most days of your trip, a pass that’s valid e.g. 2 months continuous* will give you the freedom you want. With this type of pass each day can be used as a travel day, but of course you’re not required to travel every single day! If you’d like to take unlimited trains on a select number of days, pick a pass with which you can travel e.g. 10 days within 2 months. You can choose on the go when you use each of your travel days during the overall period that your pass is valid. * The number of travel days available varies per pass.	1st class question Close About 1st class 1st class compartments offer more space, are less crowded and have more comfortable seats. What is a travel day?

A travel day lasts 24 hours from midnight to midnight. On each travel day you have access to the train networks and participating ferry companies where your Eurail pass is valid.

What does 4 to 10 days within 2 months mean?

A pass with 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 days within 2 months means that you get 4 to 10 travel days during which you can travel by train within a 2 month period. Travel days are flexible so you can decide on the go when you use each one.

Does it matter which country I start in?

No, you can start your trip in either one of the countries included in your Eurail Portugal-Spain Pass. You can even travel back and forth between countries as much as you like.

Are reservations included in my pass?

No, reservation fees are not included in your Eurail pass. All high-speed and night trains in Portugal and Spain require an advance reservation. We recommend you make your reservations as soon as possible.
