The Intercités de Nuit is a comfortable night train, connecting Paris with many other exciting cities. Travel to historical Strasbourg or to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, while sleeping in a 4 or 6 bed couchette. Make your way up to the French Alps or down to the Mediterranean coast, where you will find the splendid beaches of Nice. If you want to visit Spain on your trip, simply let the Intercités de Nuit carry you across the Spanish border, while you dream of tapas and sangria in the sun.

When a reservation is mandatory you must reserve your seat or sleeping accommodation in advance. It's not possible to board the train without this reservation.
Reservations on the Intercités de Nuit night trains are mandatory. Please keep in mind that seats and sleeping accommodation on this train are limited for pass holders. To ensure you have a place on the Intercités de Nuit, make your reservation as early as possible. Reservations can be made up to 90 days in advance.
How to make reservations for the Intercités de Nuit
You can reserve your seat or sleeping accommodation on the Intercités de Nuit in the following ways:
By calling the Deutsche Bahn booking center (+49 1806 996 633 - press '9' in the German menu). Open 24/7.
At the train station. Keep in mind that trains can become full during busy times.
Reclining seat: 9 euros
6-bed couchette: 19 euros p.p. in low season and 21 euros p.p. in high season
4-bed sleeper (1st class): 19 euros p.p. in low season and 21 euros p.p. in high season
Facilities and services
Facilities may differ per train and route.
It is possible to book a basic breakfast on board the train, for an additional fee of 5 euros.
Women traveling alone can choose to book a bed in a women-only couchette.
There are no showers on the train itself, but you can make use of the showers available at the following train stations: Paris Austerlitz, Toulouse, Strasbourg and Lyon Perrache.
