Choose the days you travel by train

A pass with "choose 10 or 15 days within 2 months" means that you get 10 or 15
travel days of train travel within a period of 2 months. This type of pass is sometimes referred to as a "flexi pass".

Example

If you order a Global Pass - choose 10 days within 2 months and you activate your pass to be valid from April 1 to May 30, you can choose any 10 days during that period on which to travel by train. Travel days are flexible and do not need to be used consecutively – just decide as you go when you travel.

Available with all passes

All Eurail passes are available with this type of validity. The number of travel days and the pass validity varies depending on the pass type and the selected country(s). You can
view Eurail passes to see all the different options available.

Using travel days

When traveling with a pass it's important that you write the date of each travel day in the Travel Calendar on your pass, before boarding the first train of that day.

When traveling on a direct night train departing after 7 p.m. (19:00) and arriving after 4 a.m. (04:00), you just need to fill in the date of arrival in the travel calendar. This is known as the 7 p.m. rule.
