Can I return my pass for a refund?

If your plans change and you can no longer go on your European rail trip, you're entitled to a refund for a Eurail pass that is unused and has not been activated. 

Contact our customer service team for instructions on how to return your Eurail pass and apply for a refund. You can apply for a refund within one year after the Eurail pass was issued.

It usually takes up to 4 weeks to process a refund. The exact date depends very much on the bank and/or credit card company involved. You can check the status of a refund in your Eurail.com account.

Make sure you purchased your pass from Eurail.Com before returning it. Refunds should always be requested from the agency or website where you purchased the pass.
