As from 9 June 2013 reservations for Thalys trains can no longer be made through the Deutsche Bahn website, call center or at the ticket desks at German train stations. You can make your reservations through the Thalyse website, call center or at the special Thalys ticket desk at Cologne train station.

There are construction works taking place in the Bulgarian and Turkish railway network. Replacement buses operate in the east of Bulgaria and between Cerkezköy and Istanbul in Turkey. The Eurail pass is valid on this buses.
