Follow top travel writers through Europe
This fall, we’re sending some of the web’s top travel bloggers to Europe with a Eurail pass in hand and curiosity aplenty. The Eurail Blog Trail 2011 will follow their experiences on Europe's rail network as well as getting an insight into the top attractions and cultural delights they stumble upon along their European rail journey.
So, let's introduce them…
Gary Arndt: In 2007, this Wisconsin-born travel blogger sold everything he owned and upped sticks in search of world adventure. Unbeknown to him, four years on, he'd still be on the road with as much inquisitiveness and excitment as at the start. Gary is currently hopskotching from one World Heritage Site to the next, and is going to spend his Eurail trip checking out some of the fascinating sites located in France, Germany and Scandinavia.

Derek Earl Baron: What started out as a three month post-grad jaunt around Southeast Asia has since turned into a 70-country mammoth world tour that appears to have no end! Earl, as he prefers to be called, is most intrigued by the human aspect of the places he visits and says he's "in search of that eye-opening first-hand education that only travel can provide". Peter & Dalene Heck: This Canadian duo started out with a trip around South America back in 2009 that involved volunteering in Bolivia. Little did they know they would fall victim to the travel bug, and soon found themselves in Honduras for a six-month stint. The wind has now blown them in the direction of Europe, where they plan to give Croatia and Southern Italy a thorough uncovering as they use their Eurail pass to get around.
