If you’re a native English speaker living outside of Europe, we’ve got an opportunity that might just make your summer. Eurail.Com is looking for an enthusiastic and talented native-English writer to help us create new content for our Germany pages. You won’t be writing a blog, but professional travel articles that are ready to be put on our sites.
Going German
A trip through Germany is a whirlwind of activity – the fast-paced city life of Berlin, the charming port of Hamburg, artistic and historic Cologne, the mysterious Black Forest, to name just a few. And almost 30,000 miles of train tracks ensure that wherever you want to go in Germany, you can get there by rail.
Our assignment: travel by train around Germany and tell us what you see with clean, professional articles. Simple as that.
Here's the deal
If you can be available for a minimum of two weeks between August and October, then we’ll provide you with a free, 10-day, 1st-class Germany rail pass and €500 spending money. You can travel anywhere you like in Germany, and then write about your experiences. We’ll even make sure you have an Internet connection, so you can send updates through our Twitter and Facebook pages while you travel.
You’re free to determine your own pace, your own destinations and your own approach. Want to hit every Biergarten in Bavaria? No problem. Want to wear lederhosen and dance like the locals? Take some pictures. You can decide what other travelers should see and do, by trying things out yourself.
What we get
When you’re finished, we’ll use your text on our websites. Want to become our official German Travel Correspondent? See the details for more information.
