Toscana Mare connects Austria and Italy
The new night train, 'Toscana Mare' operates between Vienna (Wien), Austria and Livorno, Italy. This comfortable night train takes you straight to Livorno's ferry port in around 12 hours.
From Livorno you can take a ferry to Barcelona, Spain or discover the beautiful Italian coastline.
Eurail pass holders fare
With a Eurail pass valid in both Austria and Italy you get a €40 discount for sleeping accommodation in a sleeper or couchette. Reclining seats can be booked for just €9.
Schedule
The Toscana Mare night train operates once a week in both directions from March 30 until September 29, 2012.
