Eurostar is a high-speed train connecting Great Britain to Continental Europe. The Eurostar travels via the Channel Tunnel that runs 31 miles (50 km) along the English Channel. This unique high-speed train can reach speeds of up to 300 km/hr. The travel time London from Paris in only 2 hours and 20 minutes and from Brussels it is 2 hours and 15 minutes. The Eurostar also travels direct to Calais, Lille and Disneyland Paris (Marne-la-Vallée) as well as offering seasonal services to southern France in summer and the French Alps in winter.

Eurostar operate almost hourly departures with regular direct routes to and from central London to the heart of Paris (France) and Brussels (Belgium).

Eurostar services also connect with many TGV and Thalys services to transport you to many cities across France and the Benelux. The Eurostar offers the following routes:

Pass holder fare

 

The high-speed Eurostar train is not included in the Eurail pass. However, Eurail pass holders who have a pass valid in France or Benelux can take advantage of a discount called the 'pass holder' fare. This is a special fare allowing you to change the departure time of your ticket if your travel plans change (by paying a difference in price with the new fare and a fixed fee of £30 (€40) per person per leg). It is not possible to book the ‘pass holder’ fare online. The Eurostar can be booked up to 12 weeks in advance. Your Eurail pass does not have to be activated before you board the Eurostar train. Please note that all telephone bookings are charged in pounds and that a £5 booking fee applies. The exact level of discount depends on various factors including the route and time of travel. All fares are subject to availability.
