The Le Frecce are a series of modern high-speed trains connecting cities and towns all across Italy. From the fashion capital of Milan in the north to the baroque city of Lecce in the south, travel with Le Frecce trains for a speedy and comfortable trip with a great quality service. 

There are 3 types of Le Frecce train. 
Frecciarossa trains (FR) have 78 connections per day connecting cities from Turin to Salerno. These trains are well equipped with a bistro service, air conditioning, WiFi, high-quality mobile phone reception as well as comfortable and spacious seats and ample luggage storage. 

Frecciargento trains (FA) are tilting high-speed trains that can travel at speeds of 250 km/h and connect Rome to Venice, Verona, Verona/Brescia/Bolzano, Bari/Lecce and Lamezia Terme/Reggio Calabria. This service provides all the comforts of a modern high-speed train such as comfortable seating as well as a bar/bistro service.

Locale Frecciabianca (FB) trains can reach speeds of up to 200km/h and connect Milan to Venice, but also run to smaller towns in Tuscany and Liguria as well as the Adriatic coast. The quality service includes spacious and reclining seats in air conditioned comfort, power outlets and access to drinks and snacks.

Frecciarossa (FA)
Frecciarossa has 78 daily connections and runs on the route from Turin to Salerno with hourly departures from 6a.m. – 8 p.m.  between Milan and Rome.
Turin – Milan – Bologna – Florence – Rome – Naples – Salerno  
 

Frecciabianca (FB)
Frecciabianca trains connect to 87 destinations across Italy. With regular services departing hourly between Milan and Venice as well as regular services to Northern Italy, the Adriatic coast, Tuscany and the Liguria coast.

Reservations

 

You can use your Eurail pass to travel on Le Frecce trains. Pass holders are required to make an advance compulsory reservation. Reservations can be made 30-60 days in advance. Eurail pass holders pay a €10 fee in both in 1st and 2nd class. Reservations can be made at the rail station or in advance online. More information on how to make reservations in Italy.
