EuroNight Ister routes

 

The EuroNight Ister runs daily between Budapest and Bucharest. The larger part of the journey goes through Romania, crossing the country from west to south-east. The most interesting stop along the way is Brasov, in the Transylvania region. Here you can visit Bran Castle, more commonly known as Dracula’s castle. From Brasov, you can reach Bucharest in less than 3 hours. The entire journey should take you about 17 hours.

Reservation: mandatory

When a reservation is mandatory you must reserve a seat in advance. It's not possible to board the train without this reservation.

Reservations for the EuroNight Ister are mandatory and can be made up to 3 months in advance.

How to make reservations?

You can reserve your seat on EuroNight Ister trains in the following ways:

Reservation fees

  • Seat: 3 euros

  • 6-bed couchette 16.50 euros p.p.

  • 4-bed couchette: 23 euros p.p.

  • 3-bed sleeper: 32 euros p.p.

  • Double sleeper: 43 euros p.p.

  • Single sleeper: 99 euros

  • Double deluxe sleeper: 51 euros p.p.

  • Single deluxe sleeper: 110 euros
