Lusitania night train route

 

Lusitania night trains run daily between Spain’s capital city, Madrid to Portugal’s capital city, Lisbon. The train departs every day from Madrid (Chamartín station) at 9: 50 p.m. and arrives in Lisbon (Oriente) less than 11 hours later at 7:20 a.m. In the other direction the train departs every day from Lisbon (Oriente) at 9:27 p.m. and arrives in Madrid (Chamartín station) the next morning at 8:10 a.m.

Reservation: mandatory

When a reservation is mandatory you must reserve your seat or sleeping accommodation in advance. It's not possible to board the train without this reservation.

Reservations on the Lusitania night trains are mandatory. We recommend you make your reservations as far in advance as possible.

How to make reservations for the Lusitania

You can reserve your seat or sleeping accommodation on the Lusitania in the following ways: 

Reservation fees

  • Seat: 7 euros

  • 4-bed sleeper: 29 euros p.p.

  • Double sleeper (1st class): 49 euros p.p.

  • Single sleeper (1st class): 92 euros

  • Double deluxe sleeper with private bathroom (1st class): 82 euros p.p.

  • Single deluxe sleeper with private bathroom (1st class): 140.50 euros
