The Trenhotel night train is known for its luxury and connects many of Spain's big cities, including Barcelona, Madrid and Granada. This train allows you to make long journeys overnight and travel in a great variety of sleeping accommodations.

Trenhotel domestic night train routes

 

The domestic Trenhotel has 4 lines. The Alhambra line takes you from Barcelona and Valencia to Granada in the south of Spain. The Rias Gallegas line connects Madrid with Vigo and A Coruña in the northwest of Spain. These trains have both 1st class and 2nd class accommodation.

The Galicia and Pio Baroja lines run from Barcelona to Gijón, Vigo and A Coruña. These trains only have 1st class accommodation, so a 1st class Eurail pass is required.

When a reservation is mandatory you must reserve your seat or sleeping accommodation in advance. It's not possible to board the train without this reservation.

Reservations on the Trenhotel night trains are mandatory. We recommend you make your reservations as far in advance as possible.
