Direct Eurocity services run from Munich via Austria to Italy. This scenic routes via the Alps feature breath-taking views of traditional mountain villages and romantic towns. These trains are operated by the German railway company DB and the Austrian railway company ÖBB.

- Munich - Innsbruck - Verona - Milan (1x a day)
- Munich - Innsbruck - Verona - Bologna (1x a day)

Eurail Pass conditions
Reservation is recommended but not compulsory. Reservation fees are € 4,50 (2nd class) / € 5,50 (1st class) when made in Germany. In other countries the fees are € 7,00 (2nd class) / € 11,00 (1st class).

You get excellent views from the large panorama windows in the comfortable cars.

The trains have a full service restaurant car with local specialties as well as a wide selection of soft drinks, wines and beer. There is a dedicated first class service, with leather seats, drinks and a selection of free journals.
