My best friends and I decided to travel across Europe for 2 weeks, nonstop. I checked my mailbox every day until I saw it, the little blue Eurail envelope full of opportunities and a big map. We tried to plan, to draw big lines from one country to another, but in the moment we were there, we left behind all the calendars and started living each train we took as a new beginning like life was just about to begin the minute we got down and stepped onto the platform.

"Meet so many interesting people from different parts of the world."
In the train, I met other passengers who were mostly solo travelers like me. I was pleasantly surprised that I could meet so many interesting people from different parts of the world within a blink of an eye. It gave me a chance to start conversations about various topics, from what to eat and visit to exchanging personal and profound experiences.

"The journey never made us tired"
We got the Eurail passes for convenience in travel planning. And for the sake of traveling together, we got the 1st class ones. Now that itself was a luxurious experience, especially for us who travel in the jam-packed sleeper class in India. The journey never made us tired, thanks to the high speed, those huge windows and spacious, comfortable seats.

"There is no better way to travel from city to city than by train"
Traveling by train was incredible. I saw things I would not see from above. As I traveled to Paris, France, I saw the local beauty of the landscapes. My first thought of traveling by train was a waste of time. However, seeing the beauty of local towns was picture-perfect, literally. I was able to relax longer and appreciate the scenery. There is no better way to travel from city to city than by train.
