What should I do if my Pass is lost, damaged, or stolen?
Can I get a new Eurail Pass if it's lost, stolen or damaged?
Mobile Pass
Yes! If your device gets lost, damaged, or broken with your Pass on it, you can opt to move your Pass to another device. Open the app on your new device and go to My Pass to add your Pass using your last name and Pass number from the order confirmation email. When asked, tap 'Move Pass' and follow the steps to have your Pass moved to the new device.
Paper Pass
No! If your Eurail Pass is lost or stolen it can't be replaced (unless you bought Pass Protection* before it was discontinued), meaning you can't get a new copy with the same Pass number. You will either have to buy a new Pass or replacement train tickets to continue travelling. If you bought Pass Protection* at the time of ordering your Eurail Pass with Eurail.com, these extra travel costs are covered up to the remaining value of your Eurail Pass.
You need to follow these simple steps if you're eligible for replacement train tickets with Pass Protection*.
If you bought Pass Protection*, you can order a new Eurail Pass on this website and have it shipped to your hotel or hostel address in Europe. You could also buy it at a Eurail Aid Office, or purchase point-to-point tickets at the train station.
*For sale until 3 October 2022
