Prices and discounts for Eurail Pass holders

Irish Ferries offer Eurail Pass holders a 30% discount on standard foot passenger fares (adult or child). Cabin accommodation is available at an extra charge. 

 

You are entitled to the discount if your Eurail Pass is valid in either the country of departure or arrival. You do not need to use a travel day on a flexi Pass for this discount. You may be asked to show your Eurail Pass when you check-in for the sailing.

 

Reservations

A reservation is either compulsory or strongly recommended for all crossings. 

To make a reservation and obtain your discount, follow these steps:

1. Go to www.irishferries.com and pay in full for a booking. 

2. Email your booking reference number and your Eurail Pass cover number to bookings@irishferries.com.

3. The relevant reduction will be applied to your booking and the credit will be refunded to you via the credit card system. 

Make sure to send your email at least 5 days before your outward travel date.

 

Travel times, number of crossings

Ireland – France
Overnight sailings. Sailing period: February – December. No daily sailings. Please verify sailing schedules at www.irishferries.com.

 

Ireland – UK
Dublin – Holyhead: 3 hours 15 min (Dublin Swift 1 hour 49 min), 4 daily departures
Rosslare – Pembroke: 3 hours 45 min, 2 daily departures

Cabaret lounge, live onstage entertainment, family self-service restaurant, waiter service, restaurant, cinema, gift shop, late night disco, and for children: own entertainers, dedicated play areas, special menus and videos.
