All ships sailing to/from Stockholm make a stop in Mariehamn, Åland Islands.

Interrail Pass holders benefit from a 20% discount on overnight sea journeys on Tallink Silja Line ships. On Helsinki-Tallinn fast ferries discount is 15%.

Travel times

Daily departures all year round:

  • Helsinki – Stockholm: Daily overnight sea voyage, 17-18 hours*
  • Turku – Stockholm: Daily overnight sea voyage, 11 hours, 40 minutes*
  • Helsinki – Tallinn: Up to 6 daily departures, 2 hours
  • Stockholm – Tallinn: Every other day, overnight sea voyage 17 hours*
  • Stockholm - Turku: Morning departure, 10 hours 30 minutes

 

*There is an intermediate stop in Mariehamn (Åland Islands), arrival next morning
