How do I make seat reservations?
You can make seat reservations through the Eurail.com website for 95% of all European trains. To do this, you need a Eurail Pass and a Eurail.com account. You can also book many trains through our Rail Planner App.
Reservations for most European countries will be sent to you as e-tickets. For some countries, you'll receive your reservations as paper tickets through registered mail. These include:
- Croatia – EC’s operated by HZPP
- Bulgaria – Train to Bucharest
- Czechia – ICs to/from Slovakia, EN to/from Hungary
- Hungary – ICs to/from Romania, ICs to/from Slovenia
- Norway – regional trains, night trains
- Romania – night trains, ICs, train to Ruse (and Sofia)
- Slovakia – ICs to/from Czechia
- Slovenia – ECs to/from Austria, Italy and Croatia, EN to/from Switzerland
Please check out other reservation options if you want to make reservations for domestic trains in Portugal and Romania, or any trains in Ireland, Bulgaria, Greece, Finland, Montenegro, Serbia, or Turkey.
Change of currency
You cannot change the currency once you have a Pass in your cart. Remove the Pass, and then change the currency on the website header.
